CK Gormally (they/them) is a cartoonist, researcher, and professor. CK’s narrative nonfiction comics remix autobiographical stories with research to make science relatable. Their comics have appeared in the Washington Post, Mutha Magazine, and other places. Their debut graphic memoir, Everything is Fine, I’ll Just Work Harder, a story about an unexpected healing journey to come home to themself, came out in 2025 from Street Noise Books. After their own journey in therapy, CK is finishing up a MSW in hopes of supporting others as a therapist. A DC metro area resident, CK is an avid morning person, loves nerdy research deep dives, and has more questions than answers.
