About the workshop:
Let’s start a comics conversation about age and aging. Are older people wise? Are younger people more creative? This workshop invites you to surface unchallenged assumptions, share stories, and draw your way into unexpected insights about aging. No prior drawing experience necessary. This workshop is all ages, we’re all aging!
Details:
This is a two-hour online workshop on Sunday February 1st, 10:00am-12:00pm PST (1:00pm-3:00pm EST). The class will be recorded and shared with all registered attendees.
About the teacher:
Barbara Osborn has worked at the intersection of public sector/nonprofit communications, policy and politics for more than three decades. These days, Barbara teaches a course called “Reimagining Aging” at UCLA and is working on a graphic memoir, B/OLD: My graphic adventure in aging, ageism and age-pride. Though relatively new to the graphic narrative/serial arts world, Barbara loves its imagination and possibilities, and the generosity of its community.
