I Won't Pretend These Missiles Are Stars is a comics anthology from a collective of fifteen Iranian artists who illustrated the daily lives while Israel and the United States carried out the 2025 12-Day War — a bombing campaign to destroy Iran's nuclear weapons capabilities.  I Won't Pretend These Missiles Are Stars was edited by two Iranian comics creators and teachers. For the safety of the editors, authors, and artists, their identities are anonymous.
